Monday, 5 July 2010- A Sky Dive Fundraiser.....

Thank you SO much to Karen and Mike Lawton who recently did a sky dive, 15,000 feet over Seville, to raise money for Forever Angels. It looks like they had an amazing experience and we are so greatful to them for all their fundraising efforts for the Baby Home. They have raised over £600 for Forever Angels so far and the money is still coming.....

Thank you SO much to Chris Hignell who ran the BUPA 10Km London Race on May 31st and raised an amazing £400 for the Baby Home. And thank you also to his employer, HSBC, who matched this amount and so between them raised an amazing £800 for Forever Angels!



We really appreciate your efforts Chris and are so grateful to you for choosing to support Forever Angels.

Monday, 21 June 2010- Thank you Shauneen

Thank you SO much to a future Volunteer - Shauneen, and the Holy Ghost Primary School in Wandsworth. They recently held a Non-Uniform Day for Forever Angels and managed to raise an incredible £445 - thank you SO much to all the children, parents and teachers for your efforts to support the children at Forever Angels Baby Home.

Sunday, 6 June 2010- Thank you so much Karen and Adele

Thank you SOOOOOO much to my sister Karen and her friend Adele who completed a Triathlon on May 23rd and managed to raise an amazing £800 for Forever Angels!
Karen works tirelessley in the UK to support Forever Angels, doing the accounts, fundraising and marketing for the Baby Home and we are truly greatful to her for her amazing support right from the very beginning of Forever Angels back in 2006.
And last week, she and her friend Adele, completed the 'Nantwich Triathlon' which included a 750m swim, 20km bike ride and was rounded off with a 5km run....and all this on ther hottest day of 2010 so far!

Thank you SO much to Karen and Adele and to everyone who sponsored them....we truly appreciate it.

Wednesday, 5 May 2010- Thank you Janette and Family

One of our Future Volunteers, Janette, has just completed an amazing Fundraiser for the Baby Home. Her, and 5 members of her family walked up Snowdon in Wales last week. Janette says "It took us three hours to walk up and two hours to walk down. The views were amazing and we all thoroughly enjoyed the walk. The pain was really worth it!!"


Janette managed to raise an amazing £848.50 for the Baby Home - thank you SO much Janette - we really appreciate it and are looking forward to having you here at the Baby Home.

Wednesday, 16 December 2009- Children of the Sun Art Auction - Thank you April Maciborka

CHILDREN OF THE SUN: SILENT ART AUCTION EVENT in Toronto, Canada

Thank you SO much to April Maciborka for organising the 'Children of the Sun' Silent Art Auction on January 13th 2010.

The Auction presents over 30 artists collaborating in a grassroots fundraiser to raise money for Forever Angels.

This event is the first annual silent art auction organized by former volunteer and photographer, April Maciborka.

The event is a one night intimate celebration involving the auctioning of Canadian artists brilliant works of photography, illustration, painting, jewelry, pottery and mixed media. IX Gallery is pleased to host this event beginning at 6pm until 10pm. Bidding ends at 9:30pm and buyers can expect to take their new pieces of art home that night!

Butterface Catering is serving their Afrikan-Luv-U Menu throughout the night and a special performance by African drumming group, Baro Dununba will be sure to get the energy hot!

Kissette DJ's will be kick off the night with a sexy African inspired jazz mix. Some of the raffle prizes include: hockey tickets, full body massages, specialty cheese baskets, blog template designs, nights stay at a hotel for two, photo seminars and workshops.

Opportunities to sponsor 20 of the children without a sponsor is also available. Children of the Sun is expected to draw in industry professionals, curators and the public. Come support Toronto's art community by joining us in creating innovative ways to influence positive change!
